Dragons Abreast Dragon Boat Challenge for corporate/social crews

History and General Information

In October each year, on the weekend nearest to Australia's Breast Cancer Day, Dragons Abreast ACT holds its Corporate and Social Challenge Regatta. The Pink Lady Shield, generously donated by Brendan Smyth MLA, is awarded each year to the fastest team. The Sylvia Flaxman Cup, donated by the Flaxman family, is awarded to the social team most in keeping with Dragons Abreast aims of participation and inclusiveness.

Planning is in progress for the 2008 regatta which will be held on Saturday 25th October at Lotus Bay. (map)
