We have Chezza the Legend with the Pink hair.

We also have a Breast Care Nurse, Bethel Holley, on board this year.

About Us:

Chezza The Legend usually captains the team, who have been completing now for about five years. But she has a damaged rotor cuff in her shoulder so won’t be on the boat this year, but will be cheering them on at training and on the day.

The boat is evenly loaded with Aussies and Kiwis. The KiwiRoos uniform is two pink handprints on front of white T-shirts in support of breast cancer. We entered because we wanted to support the Canberra Dragons Abreast fund and dragon boating is great fun.

The KiwiRoos are famous for their pre-race war cry lead by Geoff "Da Maori" Wallace. Not to be missed as it is a very important part of the race preparations.
