Every Sunday morning on beautiful Throsby Creek
you will see ladies dressed in bright pink shirts, paddling for their
lives. If weather permits you will see us paddling on picturesque Newcastle
Harbour with lots of laughter and happiness.
As you can see our Dragons Abreast group
has been fitted out in pink lycra shirts and pink bucket hats, which have
been very kindly donated by the Newcastle Permanent Building Society.
Come and join us and make a splash in pink and enjoy a fun, energetic
sporting activity. Meet on Sunday mornings at 8:15 am on the Carrington
side of the Cowper St Bridge and remember to wear clothes you don't mind
getting wet.
Newcastle Hunter Dragons Abreast members recently
- Assisted at the Corporate Regatta at Carington
- Participated in the Grafton Regatta which was held in lovely weather. As they included supporters they paddled as “Pink Dragonhunters”.
