Highlights
- Flamin Dragons Member Yvonne Couper was in the winning Grand Masters MixedTeam at the Nationals in Perth, WA and came home with a gold medal and a bronze medal.
- Kris Lewis and Kim Roberts also competed in the Nationals and came in fourth in the Premier Womens Team, another super effort.
- Work is well and truly underway for the June Regatta,
- Requests at Anna’s funeral for donations to the boatshed in lieu of flowers, has been very well received and to date John Wenk has received $1000 towards the fund.
- Thanks to Margaret Lievore, our bottle top fund is growing and now exceeds $800.
- Pam Jackson won the Viewer’s Choice Award at the recent Quilt Show in Port Macquarie for her handmade quilt, Pam also made and donated a quilt last year for the club.
- Our next fundraising venture is going to be at the Dahlsford Village on May 8, and all funds raised from this Monster Garage Sale will go to the Flamin Dragons.
- John Wenk has offered to be the Historian for the group and is searching for photos of when the group first began in 2004,
