Dragons Abreast National Regatta 9-10 September 2011

We shall update this page with some pictures after the event – we are looking forward to seeing you all in September for our very own regatta just for our members!
Date: Friday 9 and Saturday 10 September
Venue: Lake Kawana – QLD Sunshine Coast (same venue as AIA 2007)
Accommodation options
The full program will be provided closer to the event. Here is a list of what to expect:
- A full day Dragons Abreast Regatta - this will be our very own Dragon Boat Regatta for DAA members - and this includes special category for our supporters
- More on water paddling - including special events for all our participants
- On water workshops - for those who are interested in sweep, drumming or coaching workshops
- On Lake special activities for those who do not want to participate in the workshops
- Lunches will be provided to participants on both days
- Transport to and from the Lake (from Central Caloundra)
- Celebration dinner on Saturday night - sit down meal, with welcome bubbly, beer or soft drink, a fabulous band, plenty of lucky door and raffle prizes, and more! Make sure you pack your dancing shoes.

We are also happy to advise that we have room to include a Dinner Only option at $85.00 per person for those who do not wish to participate in the water events, nor have the other inclusions (such as transport, lunches etc). *** Important note - dinner only participants will not get lunch supplied and will need to find their own way to the lake.
