Backyard Blitz (Channel 9) featured a Dragons Abreast member on 4th June 2006 - the person featured was Lee Millard who is the founder of our team in Coffs Harbour - Lee is a breast cancer survivor and a breast care nurse.

DRAGONS ABREAST COVER GIRLS
Congratulations to Dragons Abreast for being chosen to be “cover
girls” on the "Aussie Backpacker" Guide for July-August
2004. This guide is seen by thousands of tourists in Australia, and the
cover is a good fun promotion for our pink ladies team.
The cover caption reads “Join in the fun in the Northern Territory” and itemises the Alice Springs Rodeo and the Henley on Todd Regatta.
The article in the Guide encourages teams to “try your dry boating
skills on the Todd River.” On closer inspection of the cover photo,
it appeared that this team of pink ladies sported good running shoes rather
than oars!
The Henley on Todd, instituted in 1962, will be held this year on Saturday,
18 September. Go the Pink Ladies!

Dimensions" at 6.30 p.m. ABC TV on Tuesday 5 March 2002.
