We sadly lost Lesley in 2009, after she suffered a recurrence of breast cancer.

Lesley was a long time member joining DAGC in the very early days. Lesley loved to participate with the team in regattas across Qld, NSW and overseas events. Lesley enjoyed life to the fullest and was an enthusiastic promoter of BC awareness and early detection.

Lesley had a quirky sense of humour and was fun to be around. For Lesley, joining the pinkies was very special, it was a  fun way of proving survivors can still enjoy life after BC while paddling and taking controll of your life after being diagnosed

She was always a very willing committee member and fundraiser for her beloved club.

Lesley is sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
