Dawn Worley, inaugural coordinator has actively worked for a couple of years to bring Dragons Abreast to the island. Lexie Warren - National Community Liaison officer for Dragons Abreast has been assisting with the development of the group by speaking at Zonta and Rotary Club meetings.
The fledgling group is receiving wonderful community support and expects to have their own dragon boat in the not too distant future - thanks to the Zonta CLub of Caboolture!
Dragons Abreast members from Brisbane, Gold & Sunshine Coasts as well as Redcliff all joined in a fun day paddle on Bribie recently and great fun was had by all, including the members of Zonta.
